The Mom Minute: Your Post-Holiday Pause
Help for Texas // 4-Step Summer Reset // Baby Travel Tips // 1-on-1 Kid Trips
🫶 Hello from Our Chief Mom Officer
We spent the last week at my parents’ house, packed with tons of red, white, and blue treats and fun, endless poolside “mom, watch this!” moments, and too many “leave your sister alone, or no TV” reminders. It was chaotic, loud, and so worth it. I’m absolutely exhausted, but my cup is full.
At the same time, my heart has been heavy for the families in Texas impacted by the devastating flooding. As a motherhood community, the tragic news from Camp Mystic is especially hard.
If you're looking for ways to support, our team gathered a few organizations making an impact on the ground: World Central Kitchen, Kerr County Relief Fund, and Austin Pets Alive!. Also, GoFundMe set up a page with verified fundraisers, including those supporting Camp Mystic families.
Take care of yourselves and each other. ❤️

👯♀️ Why You Should Take a Solo Trip with Your Kids
A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of chatting with Brittany Sheehan, an LA-based pediatric sleep and potty consultant. One thing she said really stuck with us: she takes solo trips with each of her three kids. We love the idea so much (and plan to carry the tradition well into adulthood!), we asked her to write about it for our blog.
In Brittany’s words: “Get ready to have the best day of your year.”
☀️ Reset and Simplify Summer
Liz Williamson, Owner and CEO of Lifestyle Management Co.TM, shares four simple steps to help you go from “I’m overwhelmed managing everything for everyone” to “ahhh… summer feels calm and joyful again.” One of our favorites? The “2-Minute Basket Sweep,” a quick and satisfying decluttering trick that turns tidying up into a mini game.
